Kyle did two major things for us in 2024. He came out for an emergency call when a pipe burst and handled the situation in a way that impressed everyone (in the house and even neighbors) by being incredibly fast and focused to resolve the situation. His foresight save the hardwood floors from needing replacement. Then we dealt with a sewer back up. Riverways quote was several thousand dollars less than the other quote we got, and Kyle was again the technician. He helped us navigate contacting the city, advised the best course, and then carried out the total replacement and rerouting of our sewer line in a day and a half. His work was thorough, efficient, and well communicated. He answered all our questions and our childrens questions clearly and full. We are very sure we made a smart choice in Riverway, Kyle, and the work they did. We would recommend them, and him, to anyone.

I contacted Riverway with a few "non-emergency" plumbing issues. They came out to give me an estimate within a few days of me calling, provided the estimate immediately after the visit, and scheduled the work the following day! Everyone was very courteous and professional, the pricing was reasonable, and most importantly, they made sure that the work was done correctly. I will certainly call them with any future needs.

We called and they were out the next day with a new water heater installed and all our pipes fixed! We were having problems with our hot water. The plumber came in and fixed that problem, then found a leak at the water heater. We asked him to inspect our sump pump, and he diagnosed a big problem and replaced it. We will definitely be calling again if we have a plumbing problem.

They're advertising is correct: they are fair with their pricing, in some cases more than fair; the most responsive self-service I've ever used; the owner is hands-on; every single person I've worked with at Riverway is a genuinely decent-hearted person. They get that most of the people using their service are middle or lower income and cannot afford to pay any more than they have to. I've referred friends and colleagues to them and have heard back that they also have been treated really well, sometimes with solutions offered that were 1/4 the cost of solutions offered by competitors.

Riverway provides excellent, timely, and affordable service. They have fixed plumbing issues for me on two different occasions (replumbed my hot water heater when it was leaking; fixed incorrectly installed shower drainage system); both times they provided a seamless experience from the time I placed the phone call to schedule with them through the completion of the repairs. On both occasions they fit me into their schedule within two days, which was faster than other plumbers in the area could get to me. They have reasonable hourly rates and don’t seem to charge an arm and a leg just because they can. In fact, when my second issue came up it was fixed within a half hour so the plumber kindly offered to look at any other plumbing issues (if I had any) since the fee would be the same up to the hour mark- that’s great customer service!

Our water heater went out and we called them for an estimate. They quoted me a price over the phone that was nearly half the cost of other competitors in the area. We purchased our own water heater and they came the same day and installed it. They had it installed within two hours of their arrival time! I couldn’t be more pleased. Highly recommend.

I had PEX Plumbing installed from old galvanized pipes, as well as toilet and shower installation and kitchen sink installation. Their prices were very fair and they were prompt professional and courteous. I will go to them again.

Fast service and quality work with a fair price

I called for an estimate on a new tile shower in our master bathroom and the owner came out to take a look. After discussing several options with us, Neil suggested we get the crack repaired by a local woman who is very good at insert repairs, take some time to really figure out what we want to do with the new shower, and call him when we are ready. Instead of taking our money, he turned down a big job to do what is best for us. That is gold. Neil earned my respect and i won't hesitate to call him again. I highly recommend Riverway!

Riverway scheduled an appointment right away. Noah arrived promptly and expertly installed a new faucet (which I purchased elsewhere) for the basement utility sink. He also installed a new T&P valve for the hot water heater. Noah did not waste any time driving up the hourly charge. He finished quickly and the bill was fairly priced. Great service, and also, at the office with Brie! ... plus, they are located nearby.

Neil was amazing. He came out, truly listened to what I had to say about the flooding that occurred in our basement after the '100 year' thunderstorm. He took his time investigating the problem, went outside and deducted that the water got in through the chimney. He said he just let go of a potentially expensive basement tear up. We found out yesterday, late morning, that our entire sewer system needed to be re-routed to accommodate a pool install. A crew came out today and had it all done in no time. 5 stars for quality, promptness, care, and professionalism. I’ll call them for any and all future needs, no doubt about it!! I didn’t shop around but the price seemed more than reasonable for the job.

Riverway installed a gas line from my house to an outbuilding. They had the LOWEST of five estimates that I got from five companies all my neighbors recommended. When they completed the job, they took $100 off that low estimate because they had completed it faster than expected. My yard looked great when the job was done. They were on time, very friendly and very professional. I highly recommend this company!!!!!!!!

This is an honest company. I had another plumber try to sell me on a $12,000 job. The owner of Riverway came out and helped me understand what needed to be done and then quoted me 1/3 the price. I highly recommend using these guys. Also, Kyle fixed our sink in 30 seconds. The other plumber spent 2 hours, cut a hole in my ceiling (unnecessary) and then tried to sell me on a huge unnecessary job.

As i was looking through the reviews, i only saw Dougs name a couple times, so i figured id get on here and gloat about his work, skills, not to mention amazingly good looks. Doug is a perfectionist, so in my opinion everything he does, he makes look amazing! He is the smartest plumber i have met, and can tell people how to do stuff, and exactly what parts will be needed over the phone, and ya know what, he is right on everytime! Not only does he make everything look absolutely perfect, but makes sure its done correctly! I may be a little partial, but he seriously is amazing at what he does!

Outstanding!! Thought I needed a new hot water heater. He could have said nothing and just replaced the hot water heater. Instead told me it didn't need to be replaced now, could do some repair. We had an emergency on a Saturday with water dripping through our kitchen ceiling, through a light fixture and into our cooktop. The service tech on call, Chad, came and took care of our problem. After evaluating all possibilities, he informed us that he would have to cut into the ceiling drywall. Making an educated guess, he picked nearly the exact spot where the pipe had been compromised! Y the time he left he had fixed the part of the pipe that was leaking and gave us his phone number and instructions on turning the water back on etc... Our plumbing project was very involved. We wanted minimal excavation to convert a garage into an apartment; we asked Riverway to give us a quote to put in a toilet, shower, bathroom sink and kitchen sink. They brought in some pretty hi-tech equipment to locate the exact location of the main drain and limit the amount of concrete to remove. Kyle, Chad, Andy, and Jeremy did great work. Neal, the owner, stopped by each day to make sure everything was on track. They finished on time, according to budget, and even did a few "extra" touches I wasn't expecting. Call them. We had a hot water heater that suddenly quit working and was leaking all over the place. We shut the water off and did a quick internet search of area plumbers including their reviews and decided to call Riverway. They told us they could work us in that afternoon (it was already about 1:30) and would at least diagnose the problem. They showed up within 30 minutes and confirmed the water heater had given up the ghost. They went through several alternatives with us, taking plenty of time to answer our questions, and helped us arrive at a decision without the least bit of sales pressure. They then replaced the water heater and, in the process, fixed several small plumbing issues we had - all in the same afternoon! They were done by 5:00 and left the place clean and tidy. The charge was what they quoted us and was very, very reasonable. We truly feel like we didn't so much get an emergency fix as a real and needed plumbing upgrade. We will use Riverway again, and give them our highest recommendation!

Hired Riverway to upgrade a bathroom from 1/2 to full, would not hesitate to hire them again and/or recommend them! Kyle was the main guy that did thenwork (both supply and drain lines). He was prompt, worked hard and quickly, and even made sure to anchor all of the drain lines well which I think most plumbers don't exactly do that. Seriously thanks for the good job!

We meant to write a review the first time Brandon came over to install a new toilet, but this review ended up being a review for two of his visits. For both times (that were months apart), Brandon was incredibly knowledgeable, competent, and efficient. He diagnosed the problem accurately (for the second visit), and found the most accessible solution without creating more work (which would also make it more expensive for us). He's also incredibly friendly and approachable, answering questions we have, and making suggestions for future improvements. As new home owners, we know we'll be calling Riverway whenever we need anything done, and hope for Brandon!
